You Have Enough on Your Plate

I understand there’s a lot that goes into running your nonprofit. You have employees to manage, programs to plan, and a community to serve. You also have a bottom line to watch.

Many nonprofits are working on tight budgets with a small staff and they are already over capacity, which makes securing funding challenging. And that’s where Bierly Grant Services comes in.

I work with nonprofits across West Michigan to secure funding for the programs and services that make this part of the country such a wonderful place to live. With experience with foundation, corporate, and federal grants, I can meet you and your organization wherever you’re at, freeing you and your team up to do the work that makes a difference to you and your clients.

You started the work you’re doing because you’re passionate about your mission, and that’s where you should be putting your time and energy.

Hi, I’m Aaryn

Writer, Entrepreneur, Advocate.

I have more than 15 years of experience working in the nonprofit world, and I know how important it is for you and your organization to thrive. For years, I wrote grants for my own work as an educator and a librarian, and I funded a lot of valuable programs through successful grant applications. Working in the nonprofit world in West Michigan, however, I saw a lot of nonprofits struggling to be successful, and it wasn’t because their work wasn’t valuable or well executed. Nonprofit organizations I knew well and worked with closely were closing because they didn’t believe funding existed for what they were doing.

What is so heartbreaking about that sentiment is that the funding exists! Corporations and foundations have millions of dollars that they are desperate to award, and they’re looking for nonprofits just like yours. But many grassroots nonprofits lack the time, capacity and specialized knowledge to find and apply to all of these grants.

That’s why I do what I do. I know how to find grant opportunities that align perfectly with your organization and what you do, and I have the writing skills to craft applications that land with funders.
