About Me

I am a grant writer and educator with over a decade of experience working in community-centered organizations that support children, families, and learning.

My professional background spans early childhood, K-12 education, and community-based programming. As a Youth Services Librarian, Educator, and Early Literacy Specialist, I have designed and led programs that support literacy development, student learning, and family engagement across a wide range of ages, from young children through middle and high school students. This breadth of experience gives me a strong understanding of how programs evolve across developmental stages and how to communicate their impact effectively to funders.

Through this work, I have developed expertise in:

  • Program development and evaluation

  • Educational and youth programming

  • Community engagement and family-centered services

  • Professional writing and communication

I specialize in working with organizations that support:

  • Education and K-12 programming

  • Early childhood and school readiness

  • Literacy initiatives

  • Community-based services for children, youth, and families

I bring both a practitioner’s perspective and a writer’s skillset to my work, helping organizations clearly articulate their mission, demonstrate impact, and pursue funding with confidence.
